Taking the plunge : Aman Verma – Vandana Lalwani

Popular actor, Aman Verma has been single for a long time now. “Mujhe raat-din” fame is all set to tie the knot to long time girlfriend and fiancee, Vandana Lalwani on December 14.

Interestingly, the couple played reel-life brother-sister on the sets of “Shapath” where they fell for each other. Aman has worked on various B-town projects like Sangharsh, Baghban among many more. While Vandana is a TV actor who acted in TV shows like Savdhaan India, Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des and Bitto.

The couple exchanged rings on December 14 last year. They were supposed to take a plunge in April this year but because of the sudden demise of Aman’s father, Colonel Y.K. Verma in a car accident the wedding was postponed to December.

As they say, Time heals everything.
Talking about this untimely tragedy, Aman adds , “We were in a state of shock. According to Hindu customs, one has to wait for a year after such a sad incident, but I felt it was time now to take the plunge. We took the decision because both our families wanted the marriage to happen soon.”
Aman had a lot to say about Vandana too.
He said “A man wants a woman who can anchor him and calm him down. You want to be a better man for a particular woman. If a woman has a calming effect on you, then she is your lady. “
To which Vandana added, “He is sorted and disciplined and has helped me become organized. Due to his army background, he is  chivalrous. He still pulls the chair and opens the door for me. That has not changed.”

The wedlock is heard to be a close-knit affair in Mumbai. The sangeet and mehendi ceremony took place on December 13.
