Vikas Maurya (B. 1986). After graduating in Bachelor of Fine Arts from College of Art, New Delhi,Vikas joined NID, Ahemdabad, for brief period to study Photography Design. Vikas started his photography career as an apprentice to legendary photographer Bharat Sikka for nearly four years. Vikas is now an independent photographer, working mostly on photographic films, videos and arts.
His work has been featured in Stocktown Australia, ASVOFF 6, Art & Deal. Vikas also contributes for magazines and publications; such as Le Figaro France, TIME New York, Roli Books, Motherland, Platform, Marie Claire Italy & Vogue, India among many others.
His commercial clients include Royal Enfield, Bhane, Pepsi, 100 Pipers, Vero Moda, Sony Bravia, HCL, Lavie, Arrow,OBI Mobile,Femella, Yep Me, Mother Dairy, Cafe Cuba, Indian Airforce, Clovia. Vikas is currently based in New Delhi.
